Lev Sergeivitch Termen playing the 'Theremin' From an early age, Lev Termen, had been influenced by the work of Nikola Tesla, and was fascinated by the concept of what we now know as the Super-het. He developed an unusual musical instrument that could be played without the musician actually touching the instrument.
This instrument (known as the Theremin) created much interest, and even Lenin was said to be a competent player.

During September 2005, Barry G7KCO gave the Club a very interesting presentation on this little known but brilliant scientist, the Powerpoint presentation may be viewed Here.

An audio file of a Theremin may be heard by clicking Here.
